Using East Coast Caravan Hub
By using this website, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when creating an account or listing.
Marketplace role
We provide a venue for private owners, agents/dealers and park/operators to advertise caravans for sale or rent. We are not the seller, owner, rental provider, booking agent, payment processor or party to a transaction unless we explicitly state otherwise.
Listings
Listing providers must have authority to advertise a caravan, provide accurate and lawful information, use photographs they have permission to use, keep availability and prices current, and respond responsibly to inquiries. We may review, reject, remove or suspend listings that breach these terms or create risk for users.
Listing fees and packages
Creating an account is free. Every new sale or rental listing gets its first 3 months free from the day it is approved and goes live. After that, you may choose to pay £39 for a further 12 months per caravan. Renewals are one-off payments taken securely by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details. Agent/Dealer and Holiday Park accounts must be approved by us before listing.
- When periods start: the 3-month free period begins when we first approve a listing. A paid 12-month renewal begins at expiry, or when the listing is re-approved if it has already expired. Editing a live listing sends it back for review but does not restart or extend the period.
- No automatic renewal: we never charge you automatically. We email a reminder before expiry; you can choose to renew for £39 per caravan for 12 months.
- Existing business packages: packages already purchased remain active until their stated expiry date. New packages and package renewals are no longer offered. When an existing package expires, listings included in it are hidden; each may then be renewed individually for £39 for 12 months.
- Expiry: when a listing period ends, the listing is hidden from the public. We may delete expired listings and their photos 12 months after expiry.
- Sold, paused or removed early: there is no partial refund if your caravan sells, you pause the listing or you remove it before the period ends.
- Rejected listings: if we cannot approve a paid listing and you are unable to correct it, contact us and we will refund the listing fee in full.
- No guarantee of results: fees pay for advertising only. We do not guarantee enquiries, bookings, a sale or a particular position on the website.
Cancellation rights
If you are a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital services. Because your listing goes live as soon as we approve it, at checkout we ask you to expressly request that we start the service within that 14-day period, and we record that consent with the date and time. If you cancel within 14 days you may have to pay for the service already provided, and you lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully provided. To cancel, email admin@eastcoastcaravanhub.co.uk. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Buyers and renters
You are responsible for checking a caravan, provider identity, ownership, park rules, site fees, availability, booking conditions and any contract before paying or committing to a purchase or rental. Do not send money until you are satisfied that the provider and transaction are genuine.
Prohibited use
You must not submit false information, impersonate another person, upload unlawful or infringing content, attempt fraud, scrape the site, bypass security controls, or interfere with the website or another user's account.
Content and reports
You retain ownership of your submitted content but give us permission to host, display and promote it for operating the marketplace. We may investigate reports and take moderation action, but we do not guarantee that every listing is accurate or safe.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for transactions, disputes, losses, inaccurate listings, availability, provider conduct or third-party websites. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
